This is an artist that I am really interested in. Tom Friedman takes everyday and common materials such as toothpicks in the above sculpture, and transforms them into beautifully manipulated works of art. I love his attention to detail and the way he has of in many cases completely obscuring the object he was using, transforming it into something else entirely.
I could not find a website for him, but there are plenty of images of his out there.
Okay, now I’m frantically searching my site in an attempt to figure out if I wrote Battlestar Galactica on there somewhere, or if Mo is some kind of psychic person who was ‘reading my mail’ and knows that last night I was watching Battlestar Galactica season one on DVD.
I never watched it when it was out, and just started the series about five days ago.
